Oxygen starts to recover

Oxygen levels in the New and Old Ponds: date and time on the horizontal axis; oxygen concentration in milligrammes of oxygen in each litre of water on the vertical axis. Click graph to enlarge.

The oxygen levels have started to recover pretty much immediately, after just one day without snow cover.

I’m a little surprised by how quick the recovery was in the Old Pond – though to a lower level.

I haven’t measured oxygen in Katy’s Pond this time.
